Shanghai — May 2026
We’ve visited Shanghai a second time in May 2026. We adore this city although it has its share of off-glamour. You know us. We’re doing the touristy stuff because we love it but we’re not putting lipstick on a pig. This video is a bit unfiltered and a bit unflattering (for both ourselves and Shanghai).
Chiang Mai — December 2025
We spent a magical 3 days in Chiang Mai for Christmas 2025! From the peaceful temples of the Old City to the incredible local flavors at Cat's Kitchen, Chiang Mai stole our hearts. We even made it up to the golden Wat Phra That Doi Suthep for those iconic views.
Penang, Malaysia — January 2026
We’re 3 beers in on a beautiful terrace in Penang, Malaysia, sharing the stories we usually keep off-camera. After 10 years of part-time traveling things were bound to go wrong—but we weren't expecting these!

About Us
We're part-time travelers and first time vloggers exploring the world's largest cities. Our goal is to travel as far and as often as possible.
We've fallen in love with the world's big cities since our first trip abroad, in Hong Kong, some 10 years back — and we've been chasing that feeling ever since. From the vibrant streets of HK to the historical landmarks of Rome and beyond.
Join us on our journeys through the world's megacities.
What we use
Our gear evolves as we learn how to actually use cameras and audio equipment to produce quality content. If you're looking for a brief intro to world traveling and content creation, the gear below might be just what you need to get going.
Lightweight but amazing at capturing videos. We have an assortment of Pocket 3s, Action 5 Pro, Osmo 360

We use a Sony FX-30 for most of our filming, and keep an Canon R50 for B-roll and (maybe?) podcasts. The 9mm Viltrox F2.8 is our Hero lens, but we also carry a Sigma 14-50 for the Sony and a Sigma 10-18 for the Canon.
The Sony FX30
We love the DJI Mic 3! Best in-class sound and it weights close to nothing! We also have a back-up DJI 2 Kit

We use a Sennheiser MKE200 for most ambiental recordings. It sounds great and it's extremely easy to control to gains!

The best trolley we've ever owned. We bought two — silver and dark grey — and have since travelled the world with only these as carry-ons. Sturdy, incredibly well built, carry-on size. Our last 1-month round-the-world trip? Packed everything in it.

MacBooks have been our daily driver computers for the past 15 years. We use the M4 Max for video and audio editing, and the iPad Pro for everything else. As we gear up for something big next year, we'll probably add a MacBook Air for lighter editing work.
